as salaam alaikum

here is ahadith about the prophets choice..

Book 031, Number 5990: <muslim's Sahih>

'A'isha, the wife of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him), reported that he used to say: Never a prophet dies in a state that he is not made to see his abode in Paradise, and then given a choice. 'A'isha said that when Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) was about to leave the world, his head was over her thigh and he had fallen into swoon three times. When he felt relief his eyes were fixed at the ceiling. He then said: O Allah, along with the high companions (i. e. along with the Apostles who live in the most elevated place of the Paradise). (On hearing these words), I then said (to myself) He is not going to opt us and I remembered a hadith which he had narrated to us as he was healthy and in which he said: No prophet dies until he sees his abode in Paradise, he is then given a choice. 'A'isha said: These were the last words which Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) spoke (the words are): O Allah, with companions on High.

Volume 6, Book 60, Number 110: Bukhari's sahih

Narrated 'Aisha:

I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "No prophet gets sick but he is given the choice to select either this world or the Hereafter." 'Aisha added: During his fatal illness, his voice became very husky and I heard him saying: "In the company of those whom is the Grace of Allah, of the prophets, the Siddiqin (those followers of the prophets who were first and foremost to believe in them), the martyrs and the pious.' (4.69) And from this I came to know that he has been given the option.

- Never do I argue with a man with a desire to hear him say what is wrong, or to expose him and win victory over him. Whenever I face an opponent in debate I silently pray - O Lord, help him so that truth may flow from his heart and on his tongue, and so that if truth is on my side, he may follow me; and if truth be on his side, I may follow him.

Bismillah
Assalamualaykum,
Nabi Musa alayhis salam was also given the choice . The Angel of death had came to him in the form of a man but nabi Musa alayhis salam gave him a black eye!
Al- Bukhari transmits with isnad From Abu Hurayra radiyallahu anh, who said,"The angle of death was sent to Musa alayhis salam. When he came, Musa gave him a black eye so he returned to his lord and said,"You sent me to a slave who does not want to die." Allah restored his eye and said,'Go back and tell him to put his hand on the back of an ox and he will live a year for every hair that his hand covers.' Musa alayhis salam said,'O Lord, then what?'He said,'Then death.'He said,'Then let it be now.'
One people of knowledge said,"He hit him because he(Israil alayhis salam) came to take his soul before giving him a choice since it's established that no Prophet is taken without being given a choice".
Allah is the knower of all things!
