Stop ignoring Nazi ambitions

Abid Ullah Jan

Pakistan is the prime target of many overt and covert actions for being the
sole Muslim nuclear power. Iraqis are dying by millions to pay the price for
allegedly possessing weapons of mass destructions. On August 22nd, American
and Russian forces whisked away Uranium from Yugoslavia as the first of a
series of "preemptive strikes" on unfriendly nuclear installations. While
Bush vows to remove Iraqi dictator at any cost, he praises General Musharraf
(1) and his State Department plans to provide security to Karazai.(2)
Strange it may sound, but all these facts hint at another Hitler in the
making with full support of dictators and democrats alike from the world
around.

Being leader of a country, which has developed and used more weapons of mass
and small-scale destruction ever in human history, Bush has put plants on
extra shifts to increase weapon production. He has dispatched advance teams
to assess need for new airstrips abroad and ordered US Department of Energy
to get strategic petroleum reserve up to its full capacity.(3)

In July 2001, his government refused to sign a verification protocol, which
the 144 signatories of 1972 convention on biological weapons had prepared
after years of deliberation. In December 2001, his negotiators tore the
biological weapons convention to shreds.

In September 2001, the New York Times reported that "the Pentagon has built
a germ factory that could make enough lethal microbes to wipe out entire
cities." This factory is constructed without either congressional oversight
or a declaration to the biological weapons convention, in direct
contravention of international law. Bush government has also been planning
to test warheads containing live microbes in large aerosol chambers at the
US Army's Edgewood Chemical Biological Centre in Maryland. Experts in this
field say that the scale of the experiments suggests that they are not
defensive, but designed to help develop new biological weapons. (4)

US Y-12 nuclear plant in Oak Ridge has resumed systematically upgrading
American nuclear weapons. The mentality at Y-12 today mirrors that of
thirty-five years ago, at the height of the Cold War. Production of nuclear
weapons components trumps all other work. Dismantlement of retired warheads,
despite an acknowledged seven-year backlog, does not occur. (5)

Bush administration is also thinking of testing nuclear bunker busters. The
Nuclear Posture Review, a secret report to Congress leaked by the US press,
suggests the need for new nuclear trials for destroying deep buried bunkers
in mountains of South and Central Asian countries and meeting the "nation's
defense goals in the 21st century." (6)

Latest information from Washington reveals that high-powered micro-wave
(HPM) and plasma weapons are under testing for use in the near future. HPM
and lasers are the primary directed-energy weapons available to the
military, where as a plasma packet has mass, moves through space and has
been compared with a bolt of lightning. It is slower than a laser beam or
HPM spike, but it can cause much more physical damage. (7)

Besides increasing the rate of developing weapons of mass destruction Bush
and Rumsfeld are weighing new covert action through developing assassination
squads in the form of military units on mission to assassinate anyone
considered a threat to US in countries around the world without informing
the governments involved. (8) At home, situation has deteriorated to the
extent that an American judge compared the Bush Administration's actions
with those of medieval monarchs. (9)

The scale of Bush military ambitions is demonstrated by the gargantuan
increase in the military budget, a staggering $48 billion. And his call for
every American to sacrifice two years in public service clearly suggests the
logic of this program of unbridled militarism.

What Hitler dreamed, Bush Junior seems to be succeeding in doing with active
support form puppet regimes and established democracies from around the
world. Like Hitler, Bush has no intention of living with the strict limits
to his power imposed by the international law or bodies such as ICJ.

Bush is promising peace and freedoms while its forces are stalling inquiries
into 19-11, violating all norms to freedom, democracy and justice in
Afghanistan and Pakistan. Evidence is mounting by the day that no plane has
crashed into Pentagon (10) and collapse of WTC is caused by some factor
other than fire from the jet fuel. Nazi forces were also staging attacks on
German interests, setting Reichstag on fire, causing as much trouble as they
could, while Hitler made speeches promising that he could end the wave of
terrorism if he was granted extraordinary powers.

Like the Germans under Hitler, every person on this earth is being warned
that a dangerous, implacable, invisible, omnipresent and invulnerable enemy
threatens their peace. The world must feel threatened as long as it does not
support Bush-minded dictators - Musharraf and Mubarak, or protect puppets
like Karzai, or assure US government not to feel hamstrung by silly
international conventions and laws. Unlike Hitler, Bush goes global,
pleading with public for an expansion of his power to interfere in internal
affairs of other states and personal freedoms of every individual.

In the most menacing and belligerent State of the Union address in American
history, Bush outlined a program of limitless and perpetual warfare against
anyone refusing to bow down. Despite Bush's attempt to resurrect the
rhetoric of World War II in his reference to the "axis of evil," it is Bush
himself who is following in the footsteps of the Nazis. One would have to go
back to the diatribes of Hitler to find comparable bellicosity in Bush's
public declarations, and comparable cynicism in the lies and provocations
employed as justifications for military aggression and violations of
accepted international norms.

Let Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq be the scapegoats. Pakistanis would live
under yet another US-sponsored dictator for a few more years. Iraqis would
bear another wave of US bombings and they may live through another decade of
genocidal sanctions. Afghans have been paying the price of American
adventures since 1979. They would sacrifice a few thousand more to end US
occupation of Afghanistan. But the world may never see another day to live
if the day 21st century Hitler unleashed his powers. That day is not far
away provided we keep ignoring sign after sing of another Hitler in the
making.

Under the cover of massive propaganda campaign about Islam, preparations are
well underway in Washington to impose a way of life, acceptable to Bush and
company, all over the world. Undoubtedly, Muslims have their weaknesses both
in the leadership and among the masses, but no amount of propaganda can
prove Islamic teachings to be totalitarian in nature or gloss over the
above-mentioned facts about American leadership's Nazi ambitions. Imposing
dictators on Pakistanis to secularize the nation or puppets in Afghanistan
to avoid establishment of an Islamic state would not save the world from the
impending disaster at the hands of present American leadership. The more
countries such as Pakistan are socially and politically destabalised and the
more the world support such schemes of plating hate among Muslims, the more
the world would move towards the final world war. The world only needs to
see for itself as to what aspect of the propaganda about militant and
totalitarian Islam doesn't apply to the philosophy and actions of Bush and
company. Instead of focusing on Islamic religious institutions in Pakistan
and Afghanistan, the world needs to check Nazi ambitions at the Capital Hill
and Pentagon for world peace.

Interestingly, none of these sites are developed and
maintained by Muslims to prove that Bush and his company could not produce a
single shred of evidence. To the contrary these sites have evidence that
proves the officials version of 9-11 story and its claim about the alleged
perpetrators absolutely wrong. All of them may not be lying at the same time
and if they do, why no one come out to prove them wrong.

Abid Ullah Jan, thank you for a most informative look at the actions of the American military-industrial complex and the creeping facism which is so typical of the New World Order first brought to our attention so many years ago by George Bush's father so many years ago. The arrogance of Bush which offends so many people, unfortunately strengthens the position of his enemies...he is much of the problem rather than the solution. He has created an atmosphere in America based on that arrogance by stating " If you are not with us, then you are against us". This is the same rhetoric of the cold war taken to new depths. This one sentence sets freedom of speech and the democratic process back to a meaningless joke.
