as-Salaamu 'Alaikum wa-raHmatullah
Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi Raaji'oon
The Mujaahid Sheikh Humood bin Uqla ash-Shuaibi passed away, placing himself amongst the ranks of Imaam an-Nawawi, al-Izz bin Abdis-Salaam, Imaam Ibn Taymiya, who were known for their sincerity to the Ummah and speaking the word of truth in front of a tyrannical ruler, and not fearing the blame of the blamers.
May Allah have mercy upon you O Sheikh, for we will never forget when you voiced your opinion in defence of Islam and Muslims, when the world remained silent. Your enemies might have called you ‘old man, with little knowledge’, but by Allah you were young at heart with oceans of knowledge accompanied with actions.
InshaaAllah, your name will be engraved in the golden pages of Islamic history.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi Raaji’ooon
Was-Salaamu ‘Alaikum wa-raHmatullahi wa-barakaatuh
Look to this day! Yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision. But today, well-lived, makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. - Brother SadiQ
