View Full Version : Allah's help
Dear brothers and sisters,
Assalamu Alaikum,
I wanted to share my experience with you. Untill two hours back today, I was in terrible depression. I am not very healthy these days which is one of the main factors of my depression and secondly I'm unable to fullfil my responsibilities towards my family due to not feeling well.
Due to such conditions I was missing my prayers though there is no excuse to leave the prayers but I was doing so. Two hours back my husband became angry with me. Life seemed so depressing that I just didn't want to live anymore. I went to pray and asked for Allah's help with all my heart and I cried and begged infront of Him.
Allah listens to us all... He has solved my problems. Its like a miracle but His help is the only thing we all need in life. Everything's back to normal for me.
I also ask you for a favour, whenever you pray please just once do pray for me and everyone that Allah keeps us on His path.
Wasalaam,
Momina.
Assalamu alikom sis...
you remind me of the many situations i've been in subhanaAllah.... Its so true dear.... I heard in a lecture once that Allah would never refuse one who needs him, be it a muslim or non muslim... one who is in trouble, their prayer is answered. So the shykh said.. if Allah answers to all his slaves when they are in need, what do u think if that slave is even a muslim and loves Allah!!
:)
May Allah keep you and us on the straight path and help you always keep ur prayer and duty towards Allah. Ameen.
Just remember, when Allah said to us.. PRAY.. its not for him.. he doesn't need it... we need it not him! :)
salam
Assalaamu alaikum.
Dearest sister...mashaAllah, wal-hamdulillah, you have been mercifully saved in that you have come to realize the power of the prayer.
It is at the times when we need Him most, that we are feeling more busy or tired or however pre-occupied so that we refrain from the prayers, forgetting that it is at these times that we need the peace and comfort and guidance that the prayers can provide for us.
Do not look to it (the prayer) as an incumberance or a burden, but rather a blessing and a mercy that is a tie between yourself and your Creator, and that tie will keep open all channels of communication, so that when you need it, it will be there for you.
And return to reading the Quran, the Book of Guidance. There is truly so much of inspiration and guidance, in fact all of it is that.
A most favorite verse of mine that I tend to recall much and reflect upon much:
'When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way.' s. 2, v. 186.
A promise, quite a true and magnificent promise indeed, that Allah promises us to listen and respond to our calls...but there is of course a stipulation, that we also listen to a respond to His call...i.e. follow His commands, and obey what He has set out for us as guidelines for our lives.
Alhamdulillah. Quite merciful and powerful indeed.
May Allah help you, sister, and help us all, and keep your feet firm in the religion of Islam, and increase your faith, and help you and all of us to grow in our faith.
Lulua.
Assalaamu alaikum.
In relation to the title that you have chosen for this thread, I would like to relate to you a personal experience.
My daughter was pregnant with her first child. And, as is most generally known to be natural with a first pregnancy, a long time for labor and delivery is rather expected. I myself had quite a terribly difficult time with my first child (this very same daughter, in fact), coupled by the fact of it being my first child, along with my own personal physical problems increasing my own discomforts and extra-long labor period.
Now, back to my daughter, and my experience with her delivery. She put a call into me when she had gone to the hospital for a check-up, and found that her water had broken, and then she was admitted as coming close to her delivery time. At this time she was not yet into labor.
Her husband came by about a half hour later to take me to stay with her at the hospital, in the hopes of me being present for the delivery. When I went in to her room, the nurses refused to allow me to go onto the delivery room, stating that it is against hospital regulations (the Dr. on charge had not yet informed them that I would be having special priveleges, and permission directly from the Dr. herself to attend the delivery). Anyways, it was already time for the isha prayer, and I opted to first of all set my things in my daughter's room, and then proceded to make my wudhu, and prayed. I took my time, concentrating properly on the prayer, and then also performing the nawafil after the obligatory prayer. During the prayer and afterwards, I kept on asking Allah to ease the pains for my daughter, and quicken the delivery time, in order to ease her pains. I stayed patiently on my prayer rug after the prayer in concentrated dhikr (remembrance of ALlah), and asking His forgiveness, as well as continued asking for ease for my daughter. Then I got up, folded up my prayer mat, and put a call into the delivery room, asking about her. There was an obvious amount of action going on at the moment there, for there were many voices, and the nurse anwering me was obviously rushed and not having too much time for the telephone. When she heard me repeat my daughter's name, she burst into enthusiastic response, telling me that she had just moments before given birth to a baby boy. I could not believe it. For one thing, I knew that my daughter had not been in serious labor at the time that I entered the hospital. Also, while she was pregnant, the Dr. had told her that the baby was most likely a girl (results of ultra scan and other investigations). I personally do not like this stuff about knowing the sex of the baby before the birth, and do not really put too much reliance on what the Dr.'s tell u before the birth.
Well, I took it upon myself to go down to the delivery room (I had been there before, and knew the route), and did not tell the nurses of my plan. I had to see for myself, and to inform my son-in-law as well. I came upon the delivery room, and found the story to be true...the baby boy was already in the nursery, and my daughter was doing just fine. After doing a little more investigation, and learning of the exact time of the birth, I later found that time to be coinciding with the same time that I was on my prayer mat, praying for her ease in delivery!!
Alhamdulillah, Allah is certainly the most merciful, and the best healer. Alhamdulillah. It was He who eased my daughter's delivery, answering a mother's prayer at a time of distress and concern for her daughter. Alhamdulillah.
So, my sister, do not underestimate the power of prayer, and do not cut yourself off from the mercy of Allah. And, remember, that no matter how much you may have sinned...as long as you shall return to Allah in seeking forgiveness from Him, He is so pleased to find that we turn to Him, so much that He shall wipe away our sins on account that we have turned to Him. He is certainly the most merciful. Alhamdulillah. May Allah be merciful upon us all, and guide us to that which is best, and keep us firm in Islam.
Lulua.

Assalaamu alaikum all muslims
Yes the verse quoted by sister lulua is
not doubt an invitation fronm Allaha (swt) to his servants,
calling them to his mercy via supplication
And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright(quran 2/186)
here is Some thing I'll like to inform all brother and sister
