I recieved this as an e-mail, long time ago, and i wanted to share it with you. If you 'do' have weird or different dreams, please do go to a scholar, for some who have studied that field can interpret the dream ( a good site is ask-imam.com). Subject: Really nice story:
This is a very insightful story that was sent to my husband in Arabic, i translated it in
order to share it. Think about it. A man was walking in the forest, when out of nowhere
a lion started running after him. In order to escape the lion, the man ran into a well. In order
to be able to climb out he grabbed on to a rope tied near by. Once inside the well he saw a snake.
Looking up, he saw the lion waiting for him at the well's opening. He also noticed a white mouse
and a black mouse nibbling on the top of the rope that he was hanging on to. When he turned his
attention back to the well, he saw a bee hive filled with honey and no bees. He started swinging
the rope to get close and kept licking the honey from the hive. Then he woke up. He asked a wise
man about how he could interpret the dream and here's what he told him. As for the lion, that
was death chasing him. And the well and the snake inside were the grave waiting for him. The
rope was his lifetime. The black mouse was night and the white mouse represented day, both
eating at the rope (his lifetime). The wise man stopped at that."So what about the honey,
what did that mean" The wise man replied, "Honey represented the sweetness of dunya that
made you forget that death and the Questioning of the Hereafter were chasing you.
