[updated:LAST EDITED ON 24-03-02 AT 10:16 PM (GMT)]Assalamu-alaikum:
Further to the earlier post that originated iscussion on Muslim Humour http://www.aliasoft.com/iwc/index.cgi?az=read_count&om=136&forum=DCForumID4 I thought I could contribute with a link that a Brother brought to my attention at:

Contrary to the belief of some non-Muslims, Muslims actually enjoy a laugh. Even the serious looking Sheikh, who carries the image of a man filled with anger and rage at the West, is a warm hearted man who enjoys some humour in private. Although after saying this, Muslims do abide by some basic rules on making jokes (to read into this further, please read The Muslim Has a Sense of Humour by Dr. Muhammad Al-Hashimi, president of Iran).
Wa-salaam,
