Look to this day! Yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision. But today, well-lived, makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. - Brother SadiQ

LAST EDITED ON 21-02-02 AT 05:15 PM (GMT)[p]Assalamu Alaikum brother,

I saw on TV some muslims who converted to christianity because of poverty. There are a lot of secret missionary activities in poor muslim countries who try to convert ignorant muslims to their own religion with the support of very powerfull and rich sources from the west(=Like the Vatican and other rich christian foundations over the world).

I know by myself that these guys are now very active in Turkey and that they are getting a lot of support especially from Greece and other countries like germany, america and korea. They get their education from these countries and later they teach the people that their own land where they living at belonged in the past to them. So they start to turn people against their own regime, culture and religion.

You may ask how I know this all ? -It was a very hot topic on Turkish TV a couple of weeks ago and a lot of missionaries were liFe on some programs who were unmasked !

LAST EDITED ON 30-01-02 AT 06:03 PM (GMT)[p]Hi,
The Situation in Iran:
"
The Reverend Mehdi Dibaj had converted from Islam to Christianity 45 years ago. On 21/12/93 he was sentenced to death on charges of apostasy. Released on appeal his body was found on 5 July 1994. The Reverend Haik Mehr, Superintendent of the Church of the Assemblies of God, who had campaigned against Dibaj's death sentence was found dead on 20/1/94. On 2 July 1994 the body of the Reverend Tatavous Michaelian, Chairman of the Council of Protestant Ministers in Iran was found with several gun shots to the head. "

The Church Of England might well have a leader
from Pakistan soon to lead the WHOLE WORLDWIDE Anglican
church.
At the end of the day people who are wise read the Torah,
Gospel and the Koran and then see what they want to see.
Religion is not a nation or a flag. It is your individual
choice. Do not let anyone cry for you or bully you. If you
want to become a christian you are letting no one down.
It is your choice. We come into this world by ourselves and
we leave by ourselves. Let no one be a bully.

In the name of Allah
Thanks all for your quick responses
There are many oraganizations who just use the name islam and have nothing to do with islam even don't obey the basic articles of faith like The followers of Ghulam Ahmed Pervez(Munkireen-e-hadeeth) the followers of Ghulam ahmed qadiani and the followers of louis farakhan etc.
I asked about muslim converts because i got a website where there are tetimonies of muslim converting to christianity
http://answering-islam.org/Testimonies/index.html

They convert to christianity because of the lack of knowledge and sometimes because of poverty.
I read once in a pakistani newspaper just before christmas that 600 muslims converted to christianity.
May Allah guide us All

replying specifically to NOI.... well... its not for us to judge others... i do not know much about that sect.... they might have deviated teachings or whatever... main thing to do now.... concentrate on that which affect us!!

= )

if there are any thing specific in their teaching u want to question.. i can look it up for ya...

the prophet peace be upon him said that there will be 73 sects near the end of time....only one of them will be saved, those who follow the prophet and his companion's way!

May we all be of them. Ameen

Peace to all members!!

"...its not for us to judge others... i do not know much about that sect.... "

Now it is not a matter of judging!! If something is wrong, then we should tell our fellow muslims. This group with other so-called groups have preached thier 'version' of islam.

So the links given by the members are well and good. This group is not part of islam, yet has a islamic name...strange...but true..

So stay away...and learn islam..

Jazak Allah khairan akhee...

don't worry I personal fear to go into many sects which have deviated.... however.. in islam we are not allowed to say that anyone is kafir and this is why i personally will not judge others.

The prophet said if they say shahada, do salah, fast and pay zakah, then they are protected and are considered muslims even though they might be hypocrites... this is what i meant..i do'nt know what NOI do.. i don't know if they have prayers.. etc...

I personally do not like to go into any sects... i stick to the principals of Quraan and the teachings of the prophet only Alhamdulillah.

Jazak Allah khairan again!

you are right we should warn others.... but this would be by bringing what you found wrong, and posting why its wrong from quraan and hadith. or at least this is what i personally believe!

Assalaamoalaikum
I asked for the site to get knowledge and understand why NOI is not islamic. An important aqeedah of NOI is that Allah came in the form of Human being and met Fard Muhammed(they as say their prophet)NaoozubiAllah

SubhanaAllah....

Ta'ala Allah ama yoshrekoon!!

I think they are taking some beliefs from the Christian thingy... subhanaAllah...

no no then definitely this is shirk!!! To put Allah to the level of human beings is a shirk...and Allah said He forgives everything except shirk!

May Allah guide them all!

Yes I totally agree. The whole point of a God of Love is only to have those worshipping him who desire to. The scriptures show that only a minority will go in through the narrow gate to life. This minority will be going in by their own choice not someone else's. If God does not force people to worship him then why on earth should people try to force others to worship him. Secondly who are we to say that the way we worship God is the way others should. I believe that I am striving to worship God in the way he wants me to but I would never wish to put my opinions on to someone else forcefully even if I had the power to. You must remember though that so called Christianity has also been guilty of trying to force others to worship the way they think is best instead of leaving it to the individual. God created us with choice(life or death). Although we may realise that a person's course of action is against God we still have to allow the individual his freedom of choice. This is true in respect to our grown up children also who have to eventually make up their own minds about worship. The only time freedom has to be curtailed is when a person decides to take away the freedom of others.
