I believe this Sssurrah talks about a Wwoman or Wwwoman who in the torment of their pain cryout to the authories and then there is a great sorting of people into groups those who need help and those who don't.
Those who are rich and those who are poor in money and knowledge.
For the greatest Jihad is the Jihad or Holy War on Poverty, Violence and Ignorance and all Women are leaders in this war as are men.
What else does this Surrah say to you?

This surah is quite clear in it's descriptiveness of the condition of mankind in relation to the earth at the coming of the Hour...the Judgement Day.
You are not well-trained or well-versed either in the Quran or Islam, to interpret the Quran. Do not be fooled by the translations into any language. To truly understand the Quran, you need to have some knowledge of the Arabic language, the language in which the Quran was revealed and has been recorded, as well as some knowledge of and experience in the interpretations. These interpretations are taken from the people who have the right and knowledge and experience of interpreting the Quran...those companions of the prophet who lived during the time of the revelation of the Quran itself.
The references in this surah to 'man' is not meaning men as in the male gender...but mankind in general...men and women alike. And, the reference to 'her' is not to the female gender of person, but in reference to the earth itself. Old and young...all those upon whom is responsible for their own judgements and acceptance and implementation of Islam into life.
As for Jihad, again...you are not a muslim...and really, you have little knowledge about what Jihad is for, and who it is for. So...why do you try to impose your own interpretations upon us for acceptance?

Please refer to the 'hadith' forum...I have posted there an article about 'tafseer', or interpretation of the Quran...how it is to be done and the methods and proper channels for it.
Hope it helps to guide you and others.

I don't ask this to be argumentative or fecitious: I just want clarification -- is it a Muslim belief that the Qur'an is only directed towards those who speak Arabic?
While we're on this subject of language, can anyone tell me what SAW stands for after people names?
