It occurred to me while living in Canada's North and recieiving my first copy of the King Faud's Edition of the Holy Quran that schools could benifit from a copy of the Quran.
Why don't you send or give a copy of the King Faud's Edition in English and Arabic to all the schools in Canada and the USA so they can like myself find the Truths and Proofs of the Quran like I did.
That way they would have an information book at hand and include a book outlining the customs and laws of Islam too.
I think this would Make the Prophet Mohammed Peace be upon Him happy.
Just an idea from a non muslim.

The institution which is responsible for printing and distributing those Quran's are distributing copies to many institutions around the world. They do this distribution free of charge, as a service to Islam. However, it is not necessarily the best idea that the Quran itself be placed into all schools which are non-muslim, mainly for the fact that not all non-muslims look to the Quran or treat the Quran with the respect that is due to it. Granted, some non-muslims may treat it with the due respect, but not all. That is not to say that Islam should not be presented in those communities...it should be represented...and the Quran itself should be available at proper islamic institutions. But different materials of informative nature about Islam is better to be distributed amongst schools in the west, rather than copies of the Quran. If you are sincere in your request and idea...perhaps you could send letter of request to the printing institution itself...suggesting this to them.
BTW...it is King Fahd, not Kind Faud, or Fuad...or however it is that you spelled it. There is a difference.

Thank you Om for your thoughts on this. Yes I mispelled King Fahd's name sorry about that.
I did write a letter to the printing press itself a number of years ago but I never got an answer back maybe my letter got lost.
I am checking into it.
We shall see what they say.
I still think the schools lybrary would benifet from a copy.

If this happened - we would surly have World War 3,4,5,6,7,8. The Muslims would leave nothing alive. Even you would be killed.

For your information when it comes to war every religion has been guilty of the sin of killing innocent bystanders.
I am not muslim but I do know that the muslim people are not war mongers and seek a peaceful existance just like all of us.
I suggest before you cast stones at the islamic people you take a look at the history of your own people.
Who was it who wiped out millions of native americans North and South?
Who was it who enslaved another race?
I suggest it is not islamic people we must worry about in war but ourselves and how we would treat people.
I suggest to you that you pray to God/Allah that there is never a third world war for the sake of everyone.
Inshallah, God willing my brother you will never see war!
God Bless everyone!
The day Islam understands the term 'co-exist', the world will be a much peaceful planet.
I understand that all relegions have downside, but the majority of your everyday people on the street, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Seikhs etc etc co-exist wonderfully - especially in England.
Everyday we hear about Muslims fighting - politacally in the name of Islam. Why?
I need someone to explain this to me. Why do muslims cause so much conflict and unrest?
Please learn to co-exist and accept 'other people' as just 'other people', not as "Non-Muslims". Who do they think they are?
Also, any 'war comparisons' which anyone makes seem to be in the last century, and in the century before that - Why not talk about NOW and Today ! Yes Millions were wiped out in the occupaiton of America/Australia etc etc. But that was 100s of years ago!!!!
It does not make it any more right, but please talk about present day!

As with every religion there are those passionate about their beliefs.
I think the question to ask is not why they are fighting but what for.
Jihad is a sacred thing to them aand many are willing to give their lives for Islam just as there sre others in other religions doing the same thing the Jews for instance.
Here in Canada most muslims that I know of are very peaceful and law abiding.
It is unfortunate but they get more bad press but then so do other religious groups.
I myself believe we are the Messiah, the Prophets, the Manifestations of God and People of Spirit, a living Messiah in the Multitudes. Not One of Us but all of Us. Affecting Our Personal and World Spiritual Economies and Environments.
I can't say I am prepared to die for anything that I believe though I believe in christianity, islam and other relgions.

It is true there are wars every where no place seems to be without some strife of some sort.
I think the issue comes down to respecting others for their beliefs and caring about the common good.
You can't change anyone but yourself so I am told.
To Indian Man/Bill/Hans Defth/Suresh (did i get all your alter-ego's right or did i forget any)
I guess you believe Milosevic was Muslim? He must be Muslim to be so cruel right? Isnt that your idealogy? Yes yes, dont worry , I am talking about the present, there is no unfair advantage to me.
What about Arkan and all the others involved in the massacre of so many Muslims in the Bosnian war?
Read up on this war, from whatever I know I can tell you that many of the ethinic divisions of the former Yugoslavia wanted to become independent, in effect, making Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia (for muslims) separate. Everything was going smoothly till Milosovic and his men rejected this proposal to the blind eye of the UN. Even by this rejection, there was no real revolt or uprising, nothing that significant, not from the Croats or the Muslims. They wanted to resolve this peacefully. But the Serbs attacked anyway....
So now you tell me, who started the war?
You will blindly say Muslims did. If you do, then you can place equal blame on the other non-Serb people like the Croats. They're mostly non-Muslim. So who would you be against? The partly Muslim side or the Serbs?
Your racism will decide that, since it has deeply rooted your mind.
Any corrections to the facts I wrote about the Bosnian war will be welcome, I am human and not perfect.

Well put brother
I am sorry but I couldn't at the time think of wars today but you made an excellent point.
hello Indian Man
Do I dare pass over the subject of Hindu terrorism? Well, since I'm Pakistani, I guess I should, judging that many of my ancestors were killed by it.
Lets start with the jealousy shown by Hindu terrorists when Muslims got their own nation to live in. The migration of Muslims from India to Pakistan during 1947 and the years following, was one of the darkest periods of that region. You know it very well.
For those who are not aware of this, then picture this:
A large migration of Muslim families, men , women and children, passing through India. On foot, by car, by bus and by train. A migration of Hindus too, from Pakistani lands to Indian lands. Nothing wrong with that right? Well it just so happens that a bunch of Hindu terrorists has to exist in every cross-roads and every trainstation there. Kill the Muslims, they dont deserve their own land, let them remain under Hindus as inferior citizens. And it was true, Muslims were treated as lower people.
So this way Muslim men, women and children were massacred by the thousands, and in defence, Muslims had to fight. Indeed, some Muslims stooped to the lower level of their enemies, and in doing so, did not follow the laws of Islam.
But other Muslims followed the Islamic law, and fought to defend their families. But no, certain people will see any Muslim fighting and call it Islamic terrorism. But ask, WHY IS HE FIGHTING? Is it terrorism to ensure that your brothers and sisters get through the area safely? Was it our fault that the Hindus were jealous of our good fortune to get a land for ourselves, where we wouldnt be persecuted for praying in our Islamic way? For living Islamically?
And let us not forget about the scattered Muslim territories that wanted to be part of the new Islamic nation. I think Hyderabad Deccan was one of them, but why didnt it get to join Pakistan? Geography didnt allow it, India would not tolerate such an outpost of Pakistan existing smack-dab in the middle of India. So they used force to make it part of India. The same story for so many other provinces.
Now you tell me, who was the terrorist here.
Should I take this example as a representation of Hindu intolerance and love for terrorism? Just like you do? NO I WONT, because that would be foolish and stooping to your level of thought.
Every race and religion has its bad apples, but the real mistake is not being a bad apple, but judging the whole crate because of the bad apples.
Any corrections to my account of the violence during the Indo-Pak partition of 1947 will be welcomed, I am human and not perfect.
