It is narrated by Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah (Radi Allahu anhu) that Rasulullah (sallallahu 'alahi wasallam) said:

"Seven people will be shaded by Allah under His shade on the day when there will be no shade but His. They are:

(1) A just ruler

(2) A young man who has been brought up in the worship of Allah (alone) sincerely from childhood.

(3) A man whose heart is attached to the mosque (ie, who offers the five fardh salats in jama'at in the mosque).

(4) Two persons who love each other only for Allah's sake, and they meet and part in Allah's cause only.

(5) A man who refuses the call of a charming woman of noble birth for illegal sexual intercourse with her, and says: 'I am afraid of Allah'

(6) A person who practises charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given (ie, nobody knows how much he has given in charity).

(7) A person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes get flooded with tears."

------------------------------------

Every time I read this hadith.... it touches me so much especially the second point... (( A young man who has been brought up in the worship of Allah (alone) sincerely from childhood.))

And it makes me think... how many of the older people when they read this hadith it makes them cry because they spent their youth in other than the worship of Allah... in wasting time and not working for Allah.

We all as young muslim teens now... this is a critical point... let us spend it in worship so that inshaAllah we will have a chance to be in the shade of Allah.

I hope that this corner will bring us together and make us work together to improve ourselves... to actuall walk towards Jannah ... towards Allah.

I am telling u right now it won't be easy... but its worth it... this is very important time in our lives.... let us use it wisely... lets put our hands together and work towards our one Goal... Jannah.

brothers... sisters.... lets walk to Allah... lets walk.. hand in hand... to Jannah Land inshaAllah.

wassalamu alikom

A great hadith, thankyou for posting it here...

I think, there is a haidth to the nearest meaning;

'Allah loves the youth/young mroe than old'

please forgive me if i have said it wrong, and if anyone else knows, please post it here too. Scholars have said that, th youth are more loved by allah, or the time during the youth, is loved by allah more than when someone becomes old is that the urge to control ones desires is very, very hard to control.

When one becomes old, it is very easy, and you have experienced most of the fitna, and it is quite easy to stop or to control yourself. When one is young, there are so many so called 'sweets' provided by the shaytan..and at the moment, those young muslims who strive and stay on the path to success, will be under the shade of allah, the only shade.

That is to say, at the time when one is young, the fitna and distractions, deceptions are many...and if one does not forget the promise of allah...allah, the great will reward him/her greatly.!

Let us all, not just hold hands..but join our minds, our ideas and not forget that the sun will be decreased near ones face and there will be one shade, the shade of allah, were youth and the others will be under.

Youth, such a stage, were one is always being attacked with things which will only take us away from allah, money, women, men, cars, rings and so on..

The option is open...let us change and remember the promise of allah is ever true.!
