For Bush and his cronies Saudi Arabia is also now 'terrorist'. What they really want is to usurp the wealth of Muslims.

Now Saudi Arabia is "Terrorist"

Before Mr. George W. Bush, many an oppressor of the yore is likely to pale into insignificance, especially because they, without hiding their roguish countenance, openly indulged in massacre and plunder. Global sovereignty was not their objective. Nor did they invent alibi to invade their targets. The American President is different from these rogues. His aim is having a sway over the global village, called earth. If any country refuses to be treated like a colonial subject, he runs the risk of being wiped out from the surface of the globe. Sir Abu Bakr Tafawa Balewa, Jomeo Kenyatta, King Faisal and Zia-ul-Haq are a few cases in point. Afghanistan, otherwise a creation of America, to deal with Russia was a hurdle in reaching to the hydrocarbon reserves in the Central Asian Muslim states. It was erased off.

Saudi Arabia, whose "excellent" relations with America rather the entire West are too well known a fact, is now being threatened with fire and brimstone under the excuse that the Kingdom, housing the two holiest shrines of Islam, is generating and promoting terrorism. This is the US charge against the "most soft and most moderate" Islamic state. Think about those who are not that soft and that moderate! The most significant mistake that all these soft and moderate Islamic states have done is that they have dealt with the Jews and their supporters without caring to understand them in the light of Qur'an which is quite specific and clear in this regard. The result is that most of them have become hunting grounds and grazing fields for them. In the name of making them moderate the west has clipped their wings, turning them into sitting ducks.

A glance at the post September 11 Western press would reveal that now a sustained campaign is in full throttle against Saudi Arabia, threatening it with "stop supporting terrorism or risk seizure of its oil fields and financial assets invested in the US". (emphasis added). This is America which wants the world to believe that under its stewardship, civilization has reached its end. A section of American think-tanks, the Congress, talk-shows and print media is busy in deliberately spoiling Saudi-American relations, confusing the situation in West Asia in the context of Israel particularly and tarring the face of Islam. Besides the said talking-heads, now the Defence Policy Board, a Pentagon advisory panel, has come out with the said demand, which, in brief is: stop study, propagation and dissemination of Qur'an and Sunnah as they constitute a threat to America.

It may be recalled that soon after the September 11 incident, a demand had been made by the same quarters to stop aid to madrasas as they were alleged to be producing terrorists.

The problem is that such motivated accusations are usually hurled from a position of strength. In response they meekly say in subdued tones: "We are not terrorist, Islam is peace, not terrorism. Remove your misgivings about us!" The accuser fully knows what you are. It is really sad that the entire Arab world seems ideally soft and moderate in the American sense. There are no Khalids and Salahuddins.

The latest demand to Saudi Arabia is, in fact, a calculated challenge to the entire Islamic world. Let it be met appropriately from the position of strength. The hot-pursuit of Islam and its followers, the western support to the Jewish usurpation of Islamic vestiges like the Qibla-I-Awwal and deliberately confusing Islam with terrorism are, in fact, part of a well-thought out plan to "enslave" Muslims, seize their natural resources and ultimately subjugate them
