The post was meant to show the hatred that some Americans have towards not only terrorism, but towards all of Islam in general.

I will not post any further messages of that type.

Once again, I sincerely apologize.

Dear Brother Matrix,

Assalamu Alaikum !

Brother, you are most welcome to participate at IWC, and to ask questions, hold discussions, etc., etc.

We realize you're debating with Christians elsewhere on the internet. However, brother, as you have yourself observed, despite the fact that the truth has been pointed out to them, they have chosen to reject the truth. Therefore, our most sincere advice to you, is that you don't waste your time with such people.

Also, as Sister Om Mohammed has pointed out, we have had our fair share of attacks. In the immediate aftermath of 9-11, alot of non-Muslims came to our site, and posted hate messages. We are fully aware of the mentality of such stubborn people.

You are also fully aware that our site does not permit such articles and messages. I hope you understand that if we allow the messages you're posting, even though we know the fact that you're merely quoting what the people, you're communicating with, on another website, are saying, then other people, who are disruptors, will start posting such messages, and we will find ourselves in a very difficult situation. I do hope you understand this.

If you wish, you're free to ask questions, and we will all try to respond, Insha Allah. But, we do request you to kindly not reproduce the articles those Christians are posting on the other website, over here, for, as i have pointed out, disruptors will take advantages of this.

Take care brother,
Wassalam,
Asif.

I understand & thank you for your patience in indulging me.

I will not post anymore "hate" messages.

Once again, I apologize & hope you will all forgive me.

Matrix.

btw, I was not aware that IWC had been attacked in such a manner. I feel badly for causing any tension here on the board...it was not my intent to do so.

I look forward to learning more from you all about Islam.

Assalaamu alaikum warahmatAllahi wabarakaatu.

Of course, br. Matrix, your apology is accepted.

As I already stated, we are well aware here at IWC, as you have informed us, that you are working elsewhere on the internet in discussion forums with non-muslims. And, of course, as is par for the course these days, you do encounter much rhetoric of hatred at Islam and the Muslims.

And I can fully understand your position of wanting to expose this low mentality of people for what they are, in the hopes of perhaps either shaming them (and those similar to them) into better behavior, or perhaps seeking advice from others on how to deal with them.

However, either way, or if your reasoning for posting such posts is yet another reason-still our policy here at IWC is that of an outlet for dawa, and although we do welcome discussions on current affairs, still we try our best to refrain from the mud-slinging that such hate-filled messages can and many times do lead to.

If you have a particular question to ask in reference to such posts (such as how to respond or handle such arguments, etc.), please do ask. But we ask you to refrain from merely posting such messages for the mere fact of posting them and revealing the hate of ignorant souls around the world.

There is really too much of that nowadays, and we here at IWC are doing our best to refrain from being participants in that vein.

There are many important aspects of Islam to demonstrate and tell people about, without the necessity of hate messages. Whether to Islam or about Islam, or any other religion for that matter.

Thankyou.

Om Mohammed.

Thankyou Om_Mohammed.

I shall try to do better & as you have requested. I hope to continue with the questioning, but will be more diligent of how I present the questions on the board.

I am saddened that I may have caused any hard feelings amongst the board. Once again, I deeply & humbly apologize.

Matrix.

Assalaamu alaikum.

Let me reassure you, Matrix-no hard feelings. Only that we, as moderators, must keep close watch on our discussion boards to ensure the most peaceful and friendly of atmosphere, even in discussions in which the parties taking part may not agree with one another.

One point that I forgot to include in my previous message, was that please do continue in your correspondence with us, and please do ask questions which will help you in your dawa work. I am sure that the members and other users here at the forums will willingly and gladly grant their help from their experiences/expertise, as I am sure that they would appreciate such help from you and others as it is needed.

Thankyou for your participation with us.

Om Mohammed.
