Need Advice

Salam Alikom!
InshaAllah you are all in great health. My name is Rose, and I am in abit of need of advice.
I am trying to find a place here in Georgia (Atlanta area) that sells jilbaabs and hijabs. I found ONE place, and I called, and they said Jilbaabs there are almost $50 a piece.
Now, I am buying these out of my own pocket, because my family is not Muslim ,seeing as I converted on my own.
I am hoping that a sister out there would be able to find me some cheaper prices, inshaAllah, and I will mail her the money and even try to handle the shipping costs.

I know that such clothing is rather expensive in the states. Such a shame that fellow muslims tend to take advantage of muslims in this situation.

Anyways...do u know how to sew, sis? if u do...u can easily make ur own dresses that u need...and scarves as well.

try Ebay there are quite a few listings for jilbabs, scarfs, and other items. And since your bidding sometimes you can get it at a very good price.

Also try contacting your local masjid and getting in touch w/ sisters there. usually there is at least one sister who has extras. Or sisters who go over seas often and can bring you back things you need much cheaper. You can also get some good hand-me-downs.. or things in a sisters closet she forgot she had and doesn't fit her.

Jilbabs tend to be pricey because of import fees, shipping ect.. that is why it is good to find out who is going over seas and put your order in :)
