Salaams
To the administrators of this site: If I wished to convert to Islaam, I would want to know everything I possibly could about it, have all my questions, conceptions and/or misconceptions cleared. If certain questions are avoided, as a potential convert, I would not be wholly convinced that Islaam really is the truth (I personally am wholly convinced that Islaam is the truth, but that is not the point here). If someone makes a direct attack on the place of women in Christianity, then rules or no rules I will not stand idly by when there are issues to be discussed about the place of women in Islaam. To allow the former but not the latter is plainly unfair and does not help the cause of Dawah.
With respect
Wa salaams
Assalamu-alaikum Br Green:
We beg to differ with you as we don't believe the type of debates you want to bring about helps in Dawah work. Perhaps you might explain to me in private what you want to achieve because I am willing to hear what you propose.
Mewnhile, I let you know that I've edited your message and removed the contents that we find offensive and violating the rules.
Besides the warning by Br BinZiad I'd like to add the following:
"There is no debating with the Forum moderator over the removal of posts. If you feel that your post has been removed unfairly please contact the forum Admin. The Forum will not be used to debate the removal of posts, nor will it be a place to criticize the moderator. The Admin of this forum reserves the right to modify the rules at any time. Continuous violation of the rules can lead to banning, please post wisely."
Ma'a-salaama,
Mr Green

Ma'a-salaama,
Wa alaikum as salaam brother Tayeb,
I shall then respond to you, brother, in private. I would like to say in public, that I wish to assure all on this forum who care about such things that my intentions are most honourable. I seek nothing more than the Truth, and to further the spread of Islaam and a proper understanding of the mission of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saws).
May I also just say that, it may have crossed your minds why is it I persist in raising this topic when you have a number of times clearly laid out the rules of this forum, since as you say, there are other fora out there which do not have quite so stringent rules. My response would be that whilst I clearly disagree with the stringent nature of the rules, I do like your (collective) combination of respect for Qur'aan, Sunnah and learning, and respectful discussion, and moderated approach even in response to comments and postings which you clearly find offensive. In that respect, I have felt that we have much in common, and you would at least be receptive to hearing me out, which to a certain extent, you have been.
That certainly does help in this Cause of ours.
Wa alaikum as salaam
Assalamu-alaikum Br Green:
I look forward in hearing from you and discuss these matters in private.
Ma'a-salaama,

Assalamu-alaikum Br Green:

Ma'a-salaama,
As salaam u alaikum brother Tayeb,
Have just posted a rather lengthy response on the Comparative Religion forum. Just want to reiterate my apologies for not having done so in private, but it came out nearly five times as long as the maximum limit for private messages, and I didn't want to break it up over five messages. You know, I just get typing on a topic, and particularly if it's about something I hold dear, I can't help myself, get a lil carried away :) Anyway, I did feel it was all very relevant, and its content of general benefit, and since it concerns the subject of dialogue with those holding different religious beliefs to ourselves, or none at all, I thought the Comparative Religion forum might be the best place for it. Please feel free to respond in private, or by e-mail, if you don't think it appropriate to respond publicly.
Respectfully,
Wa alaikum as salaam
