Stop the Massacre in Falluja Protest,

Wednesday 10th November 2004.

Demand an end to the massacres. End the occupation. Save Iraqi lives. Join us at the picket on…,

Date: 10th November 2004

Time: 5.30 pm

Venue: 10 Downing Street

The Muslim Association of Britain together with the Stop the War Coalition is calling for a mass protest on Wednesday 10th November, outside 10 Downing Street.

We are witnessing another massacre unfolding in the city of Falluja. The lie that this war was fought to liberate Iraq and its people, must always be seen in light of the estimated100, 000 citizens killed, and many thousands tortured. This is the real story of the war and subsequent occupation of Iraq.

The Muslim Association of Britain said all along that no good could come of this illegal and inhumane invasion, and indeed, nothing has. It brings us no pleasure in saying that we, as well as the majority of the British people, were right. The Prime Minister and all those who supported the belligerent war were wrong.

MAB calls upon the peace-loving British public to put pressure on the government to stop this unfolding tragedy. Unless the occupation of Iraq ends immediately and US and British troops are withdrawn and brought back home, Iraq will remain a country in ruins.

The protest will call for all British troops to be withdrawn immediately.

Members of British military families will call for all other families to join together in an urgent national campaign.
