Israel using internationally prohibited weapons to kill and maim Gaza civilians; strike on Al Maghazi continues
Date: 20 / 07 / 2006 Time: 12:32

Gaza- Ma'an- A Palestinian youth was killed Thursday in an Israeli artillery bombardment targeting the Al Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip on the second day of the invasion of the camp, after the aggression on the first day led to the killing of 9 citizens and the injury of other ten.

Medical sources in Al Aqsa Hospital reported that Muhammad Muhra, 17, from Al Bureij refugee camp, was killed. His body arrived at the hospital in an almost unrecognisable state after the Israeli missiles tore his body to pieces.

The general manager of ambulances and emergencies in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Muawiya Hassanein, said in a report on Thursday that "ten Palestinians were killed and more than 108 injured, 14 of them seriously, during the last two days in which the Israeli forces penetrated Al Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip".

Hassanain denounced in his report, "the use of the Israeli forces' internationally prohibited missiles that contain chemical materials and burning metals and in addition, have shrapnel in the shape of nails". He pointed out that the injuries received in the hospitals as a result of these missiles are very dangerous because the human tissues and muscles are torn and in addition, the injured suffer from severe bleeding, loss of limbs and broken bones.

He called on the United Nations and the Group of Eight industrial nations (G8) to implement the UN resolutions related to the occupied Palestinian territory and Lebanon, stop the war on civilians, and open Rafah Crossing so that patients may complete their treatment abroad. Dr. Hassanein pointed out that there is no treatment for cancer patients in the Gaza Strip as they have no chemotherapy treatment, and nor do they have any medicines to treat heart disease.

------------------------
And how many really believe that so-called "International Community" like the UN, the European Union or G8- countries would even listen them? Or just continue they silence as usually?

Chemical weapons used in Lebanon?

Thursday July 20, 2006, 15:33

According to belgo-Lebanese professor Bachir Cham, which directs a Saïda hospital to Lebanon, chemical weapons were used by the Israeli army. The corpses are not usual, it explained.
With the occasion of an organized press conference Friday in Brussels by Mgr Jean Abboud, secretary particular of the archbishop of Tripoli, professor Bachir Cham indicated by telephone that Lbe corpses are not usual. Following the explosion, there no was haemorrhage, nor of hématome subcutaneous. The hair and sometimes the beard and the moustache remained intact. There are no traces of a breath. The color of the skin is black as a shoe but it is not calcined, nor not burned.

Eight bodies with the pace of mummies were brought to this hospital Monday. Photographs were taken bodies. Two bodies of children did not present any wound following the explosion. I have the impression that a toxic product penetrates in the body by the skin. Death is almost certain at 100%, it added.

The general Michel Aoun, former Lebanese Prime Minister, declared, also by telephone, that bombs with gas which one is unaware of the contents had released a strange odor. Since the beginning of the events with Lebanon, 350 people would have died and 1.000 others wounded according to general's Michel Aoun who claimed a dialogue and a respect of the right.

The belgo-Lebanese professor of international relations at the university of Mons Haïssam Safar considered that the chemical weapons were an inadmissible thing which could not leave anybody indifferent. Professor Rudolf El Kareh affirmed that a humane solution with an opening of a corridor was not sufficient but that had to be given a political answer. It is necessary to attack with the cause and not the effects, it has says, by claiming an intervention of the European Union. It greeted the standpoint of Spain.

Mgr Jean Abboud announced his intention to leave with a delegation to Israel in order to meet political authorities of the country and to obtain the release of prisoners Lebanese, essential according to him to put a term at the war. I am trustful. I await just the green light of the Israeli authorities so that one can leave. Professors and lawyers of Belgium already expressed their will to leave too, it has says.

Mgr Jean Abboud lived five years in Israel, between 1976 and 1980. I did not encounter any problem over there. They are five years unforgettable. Everyone inevitably did not accept what I said but I never had difficulties.

Jul 22, 2006, 15:43

Cairo - An Egyptian legal committee has warned of the serious consequences of the IOF use of chemical weapons against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip for more than a week now.

The committee for citizens' rights in northern Sinai, adjacent to the Strip, charged that the IOF warplanes have been releasing chemical materials against the Palestinian populace in the Strip for the past week.

It said that the chemical agents cause extraordinary burns that could turn into cancers and added that they could also cause miscarriages and death of patients especially those suffering chest diseases.

The committee said its members saw the warplanes while releasing those chemicals from the Egyptian-Palestinian borders.

I pray for you and others who are in areas targeted by war. I wish this would stop and individuaLs COULD TALK THINGS OUT. I know spoken like a child who have never experinced war, and that is so true. I have never been touched by war until the Gulf Wars and the bombing of the twin towers. I pray that your family knows the peace that my family takes for granted.
