Caged Innocence
In some parts of Occupied Palestinian Territories, It is a parents nightmare when they are to send their children off to school. Before reaching the school these children must pass through several checkpoints to go to school. If not approved then they sometimes return home and most times dont make it. Children are open targets for the Zionist. These unlucky children are seen as a threat, walking to school with a bookbag and jacket. For no reason, an unexpected child will find him or herself in handcuffs, and blind fold or a hood over their faces, kicked and punched everywhere in thier little bodies. Four soldiers to one child, his weapon of chose is a history book. His crime walking to be eduacated. Don't ever bend down to tie your shoes, it looks as though you are picking up a stone to throw it. That stone is a terroristic weapon of mass destruction and will cost you 6 months in prison with grown men, torture and abuse, or all of the above and death. The example of the crime here is very real. When a child picks up a stone to defend himself, they are defending with their last breath. When a Zionists catches the stone throwers, besides a prison term or death , but first the five or six zionists must first force down the young child, kick him til he is breathless and then the main event, each zionist soldier grabs at the arms and hands of the child, grabs a stone of good size and begins to pound on the small fragile bones, until both arms are useless to ever defend again.
The young child is slowly escorted to the detention center for interrogations. Partly in shock from his beating and arms and hands crushed, he sit sat in a hot room, cuffs still on and hood over his face. The first officer comes in and roughly performs a body search of the child, sending unbearable pain to the young child. The second officer brings in a few more children( about 20). Battered and beaten, scared and hungry, they await the next long hours of beating. Then a few more officers come in and begin questions and threats, with silence comes again the punches and kicks to the personal and sensitive body parts and to the crushed bones. When after all these beating nothing is accomplished, the child is brought to a cell made for 2 occupants and houses 5 to 6. If the child is lucky his cell mates are kind and caring as they can be as they are muslims( and unlucky is another story). Now in walks a medical officer to attempt to fix the crushed bones, fast patches until in the infirmary. Fixed but the childs arms are lamed. Time to be transfered to the prison, handcuffs never left his wrists even while fixing his arms and hands. the hood is back on his head. The first few hours are tolerated as the child is heavily sedated. The trays of food are thrown in, the food is old dirty and smells very bad, there are maggots in the food. There are no blankets. Personal hygiene is greatly neglected. and this child has the next 6 months without a trial, or hearing , no charges pressed.
Since 1967, over 650,000 Palestinians have been detained by Israel. That is 20% of the entire Occupied Palestinian Terrirories. In which 40% of them are men. Over 300 children are being housed in Israeli prisons, most without charges. These prison conditions are not suitable even for the men to edure and children are barely survivng. The youngest child just rescently released from an Israeli prison was only 2 yrs old born in prison and spent those first years of his life in hardship, no clean water, dirty and damp floors and walls. His first year of nutrition was by his mother, and the second was his mother and the nutrition come from spoiled food and stale water. The infant prisoner was released, but how much of his experience will his sub-conscience hide from him as he grows up? What kind of nightmares will mark him, hearing the beatings and cries of women all through the day and night. The Zionists are in the line of crimminal war crimes against the children, woman, and men of Palestine. By International Laws, The zionist have ignored these Laws, but nothing is done, no charges, no santions, but praised Alliances by the usa. Woman and children die because of the lack of nutrition, beatings, and torture.
Israel and the USA are puppet partners in the so call democracy they want to impose on everyone else. Then why does the usa tolerate these crimes against the woman and children behind prison walls? Non of these would be allowed to ever take place here in the usa. In the usa no one sits for one or two years in prison without charges, proof and witnesses. So , If in the same democracy, then why are these crimes being allowed to exist? In the usa you will not see a child in prison, there are seperate facilities for young children. I was going to mention that torture and electricity are not used, but i guess the usa uses these outside usa, But here torture is not tolerated. What this comes down to is why are children and women allowed to be tortured, beat, wrongfully inprisoned by the Zionists? But not tolerated by any other country or state. Palestinians are human as anyother people in this world. Human descentcy and peace to live are rights by all humans, this includes Palestinians, and Arabs alike. What if these were your children and woman? Your family members being tortured. We need to start looking into getting these crimes stopped. Release the woman and children, they have been there long enough. One week in Israel prisions is like a year of punishment, and usually with no crime to mention.
