Palestinian occupation forces killed 71 Israelis over the past 4 weeks. There were 11 children, 2 women, 3 elderly, and one handicapped man among the victims. Another 173 Israelis were injured during the same period, including 56 children and 6 women. Furthermore, Palestinians kidnapped 267 Israelis and destroyed 61 homes in 162 raids into Israeli towns and villages. These numbers consider a drop in the rate of killed, injured, and imprisoned compared with the 4-week period before the one in question.
On the other hand, no Palestinians were killed or injured during the period. However, one Palestinian remains in the hands of Israelis after he was abducted nearly 3 months ago.
Palestinians also maintained a complete blockade on Israeli towns and villages till Israeli cease to threaten Palestinians and till the unconditional return of the abducted Palestinian.
Palestinian leaders commented on this issue by reiterating their right to defend themselves against Israeli terrorists who threaten the lives of innocent Palestinians civilians and soldiers. In addition, these leader affirmed that they will persist in pursuing Israeli terrorists, and called upon Israelis not to be held hostage by these terrorists who have brought destruction upon them.
