Comment:American officials public statements in support of Musharraf are hardly surprising. On the one hand people of Pakistan have filled up the streets in protest against the General and on the other American officials have descended on Pakistan in a show of support for their puppet in chief. This is a clear tussel between the people of Pakistan and the neo-colonial administration in Washington.
