Salam Alaikum my brothers and sisters and Ramadhan mubarak to all.

I am writing a plea for all Muslim brothers and sisters to please remember my mother-in-law in your duas. Her name is Farkhondeh, which means joyous and happy in persian, and she has just been diagnosed with leukemia. She is certainly joyous and happy all the time and in this time that the sickness was revealed she has not changed. She is an amazingly brave woman with an enormous heart. She has four beautiful children, 3 boys and 1 girl, whom Allah bestowed upon me to be my wife. We just got married 1 month ago and of all the people who were present, no-one was more joyous and happy then my mother-in-law Farkhonde. Of her three boys her youngest is a 4 year old who as you can imagine is incredibly attached to his mother. She survived a scary car accident with him when he was only a baby, and Allah willing she can also survive this. She has also lived with diabetes most of her life.

I always ask Allah to give shifa to all those that are ill. Please remember my mother in all your duas, so that she may able to spend the rest of this beautiful month with her beautiful family.

Thankyou
Peace be upon all.

Recently it was relayed to me that no person gets sick except that Allah has shown mercy and concern, hoping to bring them nearer to him through awareness, may her attention be brought to what Allah wishes to point out. I too will pray for your mother along with all the others suffering under the burden of this life.

I thank you all for your replies. I too believe that Allah has shown mercy and concern for her to bring this disease to light now. I just keep doing dua that Allah can give her the energy and spirit to fight it, and inshallah come out on the other side stronger. I pray that the Allah can give the doctors, who I know are working tirelessly, to have that extra energy and vigilance to treat her properly. Allah have mercy on all the sick.

May Allah accept all your duas in this beautiful month.

Asalam u alaikum brothers and sisters,

Inshallah you are enjoying the splendours of this beautiful month and all the spiritual bounty that it is giving you. I just wanted to update people about the status of my mother. Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah) who answers the duas that are from the heart, and I am witness to this, as although she isn't out of the danger zone yet, your duas have meant that she is still in very high spirits, not losing faith but instead becoming braver with each day.

Inshallah she will start chemotherapy soon which is when she will really be tested both physically and mentally, but please carry on your duas for her.

May Allah bless and protect all of you and your families.
